Jerky Video Windows 7 Solution
Jerky Video Windows 7, Video Fault Windows 7, Video Freezes W7
This one drove me nuts for a while. I found the solution was to install K Lite Codec pack and untick in media player as many of the options for contacting the internet as possible.
You can get it here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_mega_codec_pack.htm
Go to Autoplay in the Control Panel and reset all settings to default. Reselect your choices later.
Restart your computer and video playback should be back to normal. It may be a W7 thing, but lots of people are reporting the same problem.
